Product Description

API Petroleum Casing

The standard of API petroleum casing, known as API 5L, follows the American Petroleum Institute standards. As a general rule, petroleum casing exports adhere to these standards, hence the name API petroleum casing. Based on material grades, it includes K55, J55, N80, and P110 petroleum casings. The casing buckles feature short round buckles (STC), long round buckles (LTC), and biased trapezoidal (BTC) buckles, which are the most common. Additionally, there are airtight and threaded buckles among other specialty shapes. Major production bases for API oil casing are in North China. Oil casing can be categorized into seamless and welded pipes, with the former being more expensive. The material of petroleum casing surpasses ordinary carbon steel pipes in mechanical properties, making it indispensable in oil drilling. Key customers are located in Southeast Asia, East Asia, the Middle East, West Asia, Latin America, and other regions.
